New button for converting a selected tabbed text to a table.
Most important preferences of the window "Extended search/replace" now saved.

 Bugs Fixed

Inserting a bookmark as a number with "Insert bookmark" button on the middle bar did not open the bookmark.
"Clear all bookmarks in all files" would only clear in the current document.
Clear all highlights in all files" did not work at all, even in the current document.
No matter how the bookmarks were added (right clicking on the line # or right clicking on the line itself and choosing insert bookmark), once the page was closed, the bookmarks were not kept when the page was reopened.
Reopening AceHTML after unchecking "Create new document" in General Preferences and closing all documents did not take effect: A new document was created.
The position of an inserted tag with the code inspector in the middle of a blank line was far from the middle of the tag where it should have been.
Selecting a file in Open ? File Manager and hitting the "Enter" key did not open the file.
In File Manager, typing the name of another folder manually in the "File name" box did not work.
In Image Browser, when selecting "Browse images in document" or "Browse images in project" and hitting the image browse, change of message was displayed, rather than the message "There is no image to browse in [document name]," if no image existed in the document.
While viewing a document in the Internal Viewer, clicking on the double window icon (between the STOP icon and the Address window) to view the document in "my installed browser - IE 6" did not open the browser. Using the start "External browser" button in the top menu bar did work.
The PHP parser caused an error after clicking on the "Viewer" tab.
Bug with Code Completion: The cursor was placed outside of the quote marks after choosing a tag.
Extended replace
  • The "Search result" window ("Extended search") opened as empty when doing an extended replace.
  • When doing an extended search and trying to remove or to put back the "Stay on top" in the "Search results" window by its contextual menu caused a complete crash of AceHTML.
  • The default button "Yes" and "Cancel" did not match with "enter" for "yes" and "esc" for cancel in that window.
  • The "Go to the line" menu did not work when creating a new file and doing an extended search on "html."
In an xhtml file, Code Inspector removed the / of the xhtml end of tag in one part of the code. For example, img became <img ....>
Bugs when you create a document:
  • The focus should be on the default document icon chosen by the user in the preference, and hitting "Enter" should open it, but the focus was on the button "New."
  • When selecting "New," the bitmap of the wizard was not there. It should be the file tmp.grf in the current folder.
Attempting to view any file through the (IE) external browser (CTRL-f12) gave the result '"Cannot find \"\\ftp|\\\\mysitename\\dirname\\filename\."
The menu "Remove file from project" in the "Project" menu was disabled when a file was not in a project. However, in the file tabs, that same menu item was never disabled.
All items were disabled when all files were closed.
When the "HTML tags quick reference" window was displayed and moved to the area occupied by "Code Inspector," it was incorporated into the toolbars as expected. However, if AceHTML was quit and restarted, the "HTML tags quick reference" window was no longer incorporated into the same area as "code Inspector," but rather floated over all other windows.
Looking at the JS or CSS file with the internal viewer caused the following message: "Cannot find file "file:\\." "Make sure the Internet address is correct."
The "Search result" window ("Extended search") opened empty when doing an extended replace.
Searching in a document (CTRL-F) with Origin set as "From cursor" did not work properly. The problem occurred when accepting the default presented by the search dialog, which is a search string. Retyping the identical search string over the default made the search work as it should.
CSS problem: The application was freezing when changing a specific CSS file and saving it and when checking it for syntax:
  • The button "Cancel" remained, and never changed to OK.
  • The lines were sometimes going to 18 (on 70) or staying at 0.
A few bugs were fixed in Project Manager.
Having a default xhtml file open with a particular desktop caused the disappearance of many tabs when attempting to open a file.
In the "Customize" menu, hitting the button "Reset" located on the bottom left of the dialog closed AceHTML without even an error message.
In "Customize", making the project as a tab crashed AceHTML.
Internal Link and External Link reference fields did not work properly.
The auto-refresh near the menu "View" was not working.
Code Explorer did not refresh until the Editor window was selected.
In General Preferences, the refresh time delay did not work when it was changed; it was always the same. Other options like "work offline" and "suppress all dialogs" did not work as well.
A few tags needed to be changed:
For align left, it is now: <div style="text-align: left"></div>.
For align right, it is now: <div style="text-align: right"></div>.
For align center, it is now: <div style="text-align: center"></div>.
The dialog PHP, ASP, and WML could not be resized.
The "gutter color" for JavaScript, CSS, and WML had the wrong color.
Bug with the optimizer:
  • Closing all documents and using the code "Optimizer" caused a crash.
  • Closing all documents and opening the "Optimizer" but then hitting "Close", caused a visual bug with a grey invisible project manager in the background except for the tab.
The item "Add current file to project" was enabled even when the file was not saved or when all files were closed.
There was a bug with the dock/undock viewer.
Bug with the Search (or Replace) window: The same occurrence was selected; it did not go to the next one.
PHP code helper:
  • The PHP code helper pop-ups did not appear regularly (although backspace encouraged them to show u). The code helper selected "Break," as it was the first item in the list and any keystroke other than escape selected this item and inserted it in the line.
  • The code hint or the code completion was appearing after a click on a button to open a dialog. Thus, the code completion or hint would appear over the dialog.
The speed when typing text was slow; it is now 2.5x faster.
There was a problem with slow speed on files open from a network.
There was a problem with the option "cursor beyond end of line" position.
There was a problem with the spell checker button: The spell checker checked the entire page of text instead of just the selected text.
Hitting F1 and not being on a tag should call the General Help file., but it did nothing.
The "Reset" button from General Preferences did not function properly: The JavaScript, CSS, and VB syntax options were not reset to their default values (as was the case for all plugins).
In General Preferences -> Associations, checking "Add AceHTML in Internet Explorer" in the "Edit" menu" caused three bugs:
  • AceHTML was not added in the "IE Edit" menu.
  • Also, when coming back into General Preferences, the option was unchecked, as though it had not been saved .
  • If the code was added manually the code in the registry AceHTML for Internet Explorer, AceHTML opened only the first page. In a second page, it only showed AceHTML without opening the another page.
In File Manager:
  • The status bar was no longer displaying the information about file size, file name, and file path.
  • The shortcuts were not working in File Manager.
There was a bug with the CTRL+V when pasting Unicode characters.
The "Find or replace" was not working properly anymore. It would continue to search from the old position of the cursor instead of the new position. The same was true if a search from the beginning of the document was selected.
There was a bug with the right-click functions when the focus is on the tab file.so that it was impossible to open or close or save a file.
There was a bug with the "save as" function when selecting an existing file in the view and renaming it.
For "Extended search and replace," the Backup Modified files = UNCHECKED, but .bak files were still created.
After running "Extended search/replace,"the save button on the report had a problem: The user could only save as an existing text file; trying to create a new .txt file did not work.
There was a bug with Code completion: When the align attribute was double clicked, it deleted the </body></html> tag.
Selecting "proj" as an associated extension in the General Preferences window (Types parameter) meant that when a project file in Windows Explorer was selected, AceHTML should have started up with the project displayed in the Project window.proj extension in the General Preferences window (Extensions parameter), rather than in the Edit window.
