Shortcut keys can speed up your work considerably. However, you might want to customize them for more control. Here's how you can customize hotkeys in AceHTML Pro.
- Click the arrow facing downward located at the right end of any toolbar.
- Click Add or Remove Buttons.
- Select Customize ....
- Click the Commands tab.
From that point, you can select commands from the list. The assigned shortcut is displayed in the Shortcut field. You can assign a new shortcut if none exists or change the current one. Be aware, however, that you cannot reuse a shortcut already assigned to another command.
For a list of existing shortcut keys, look in the help file under References - List of Shortcuts. If you want to assign a shortcut key to a block of coding, you can use the Custom Buttons or Code Template features (Custom toolbar and SHIFT-CTRL-F12, Code Template tab, respectively). You might find the Code Snippet feature handier, but it does not allow you to assign any shortcut keys.
