The user-friendly interface lets you see all the frames at once and allows you to use the mouse to interact directly with the frames. It's also possible to select multiple frames for easy manipulation of more than one frame at a time. Because of the superior interface, you can see which frames you have selected.

It's easy to control all aspects of animation, from delays to removal methods to palette management directly from the toolbar. Many types of actions can be taken:
Des opérations peuvent être effectuées sur l'animation complète ou encore sur les cadres sélectionnés:
- Zooming in and zooming out
- Manipulation of individual frames by moving, cropping, rotating, and flipping
- Automated reversal of frame order
- Resizing of animation or individual frames, with or without resampling
- Automated "thinning" of animation to remove every nth frame
- Ping-pong effect.
- Cropping of entire animation

Inter-frame optimization gives you the possibility to shrink the file size even more, and palette reduction with a before-and-after animated view helps you reduce your file size while maintaining the animation's image quality.

Live edit allows you to edit a frame or the whole animation (as layers in Photoshop) directly in the image editor of your choice. Changes saved in the editor appear automatically in GMG.

24-bit color is supported to let you build animations (AVI) without losing any color data. 24-bit color is also useful for icon files and for PSD, PNG, BMP, and JPEG manipulation.

It's now possible to blend two animations frame by frame to easily generate a composite animation. It's never been easier to put two animations side by side or a new background behind a sprite animation.

The animation preview window keeps running even as you edit the animation. The preview image is also zoomable.

You can choose from multiple transparent colors.
