Live edit allows you to edit a frame or the whole animation (as layers in Photoshop) directly in the image editor of your choice. Changes saved in the editor appear automatically in GMG.

It's now possible to export compressed and noncompressed AVI, layered Photoshop PSD, GIF, BMP, PNG, JPEG, ICO (Windows icon), ANI (Windows animated icons), and CUR (Windows cursor) files.

Importing different frames and animations |

GIF, JPEG, AVI, ANI, ICO, PNG, and BMP frames and animations, as well as Photoshop PSD files, can now be imported to GIF Movie Gear 4, either as animations based on Photoshop layers or as single images.

24-bit color |

24-bit color is supported to enable you to build animations (AVI) without losing any color data. 24-bit color is also useful for icon files and for PSD, PNG, BMP, and JPEG manipulation.
