Easy-to-use intuitive interface |
Live edit allows you to edit a frame or the whole animation (as layers in Photoshop) directly in the image editor of your choice. Changes saved in the editor appear automatically in GMG.

Multiple selection of frames |
It's possible to select multiple frames for easy manipulation of more than one frame at a time. And because of the superior interface, you can see which frames you have selected.

24-bit color |
24-bit color is supported to enable you to build animations (AVI) without losing any color data. 24-bit color is also useful for icon files and for PSD, PNG, BMP, and JPEG manipulation.
The "ping-pong" effect |
An automated reversal of frame order and an automated "ping-pong" of animation effects is now available.
Palette reduction |
By reducing the number of colors in the animation (or a single image for that matter), the compression used by the GIF format will tend to do a much better job. The tradeoff is that the image quality may potentially degrade as colors are lost. Here's an example:
256 colors 18,736 bytes
64 colors 12,464 bytes
32 colors 9,818 bytes
