Our History |

Visicom Media was founded in 1996 in the city of Brossard, near Montreal (Quebec, Canada) by three friends, Patrice Carrénard, Dominique Tremblay and Nicolas Xanthopoulos, which had just obtained their university degrees in Computer Science. They decided to take advantage of the new information technologies which were about to boom in the mid-nineties. Their first award-winning product was an HTML editor called WebExpert. It became the first French language HTML editing software to be developed in the world.
From this early success, Visicom Media quickly developed a suite of products targeted for Web developers for both the French and the English markets.
Today the company is a renowned international company with employees and development partners in Canada, Spain, France, USA, Germany, South Africa, Brazil and Russia.
Visicom Media has also entered and developed numerous strategic partnerships with other reputable companies such as France Telecom, Terra Lycos Networks, CNET Networks, T-online, Tiscali, Web Side Story, Netgraphe, Bravenet, Financial Times, Nasdaq, Mageos, Fortune City and Yellow Pages.
